答案是E。通过平行结构可以看出。
但A中说fashioned错误地修饰了empire而不是deities,是否意味着svo+-ed的句型中-ed是就近修饰而不是修饰句子主语？

从OG来看，date应该和were fashioned平行，仍然不明白为什么这两个动词的时态不同，按照常规来说，应该是was dated from or to 吧。哪位牛人解释一下？多谢多谢！

想请NN来make sure 一下~“SVO, ed"中的done是就近修饰没错吧~
具体来说，SVO doing/done中doing/done是做后O的后置定语
SVO, doing中doing可以只S表示伴随，doing也可以指前面整个SVO表结果。那么SVO, done呢？是就近修饰O么~

XDF是这么说的：“当过去分词短语在句末出现时，无论前面有无逗号，该分词短语都是做定语就近修饰前面紧邻的名词”。
我想再问一下什么算主句？比如出现 ”SVO,and SVO,Ving“的话，Ving逻辑主语应该是第一个句子的主语还是离Ving最近的句子的主语？

非常感谢！我后来又上的GWD老师的课，主旨之一就是抓住语义做题！主句和从句之分应该是对SVO, Ving这样的结构说的。SVO, and SVO的话应该强调的是这俩的并列。我是认为SVO,and SVO,Ving中的Ving一般是指第二个句子。不过根据管老师的“感觉”，如果一句话读下来，Ving修饰的是谁得让你花时间/花几步才能想清楚的话，则说明这句话“感觉不好”。虽然“感觉”有点儿虚，但是还是有点儿正确的~
