2.代词的指代
根据第一点排除CDE；A中两个it连在一起指代不清，剩下B；再来看B，one arm is lost it is quickly replaced，it指代one arm很清晰，is replaced被动的使用避免了A中的指代不清

请问为什么根据第一点cde就都排除了？不是都是现在分词吗

他的意思是，必须要有and
你看看如果划线部末尾没有and是个什么情况～

对C选项还是有点迷惑。
不太理解，为什么 overcompensating 和 growing an extra one or two，这两个是并列关系？
为什么不是因果关系：因为有overcompensating，所以growing an extra one or two。
