原题如下。这个在CD上已经问过很多遍了，我也看了好多个帖子在说这道题。但是我还是有个疑问。对于选项BCD中 rather to come/instead to come OG 的解释是does not complete the second part of the sentence idiomatically。这个解释要怎么理解呢？ 求NN指点，多谢！

这里考了一个并列谓语：the economy will avoid...and instead (will) come...所以，come前面不能有to。因为如果用to，说明avoid the recession的目的是为了come in for a "soft landing",不符合原句的表示两个动作的并列关系。

嗯，谢谢队友的回复！你说的这点我明白。我可能钻了某个牛角尖。我觉得to come和错误选项里的ability后面的 to avoid平行，因此没错。但其实这个选项本身的结构就错了。被G绕进去了。谢谢点醒我

that引导定语从句修饰RECESSION，所以THAT是要加的。

不是一定要加that的，这里的that引导定语从句，其先行词recession作为定语从句中的宾语，实际上是可以省略的。D选项的错误不在于省略了that， 而是后面的and rather to come

还是不明白，rather to come不可以和前面的to avoid recession平行并列吗？

语法只是做题的一个方面，我们一定要注意“逻辑”也是非常重要的。原句的意思是“经济”能够避免萧条，反而进入稳着陆。而B和D都是说：经济中的“信心”能够避免萧条，进入稳着陆。而C选项的 's ability to...结构显然没有A选项简洁，E选项虽然避免了上述问题，但是左后的with it instead coming结构不如A选项的and instead come并列结构好！
