求助：这里Prep的解释里是说，which错误的修饰了shots。
但是我从曼哈顿里看来，这种A OF B的结构，后面的从句是作为整个A OF B的从句。
我的问题是，
1）这里用限制性定语从句和非限制性定语从句有差异吗？
2）that 和 which 是否都能作为 a of b整个词组引导的从句的先行词？

曼哈顿里也说了，which只能指代紧邻在前面的名词，而这里shots显然不是which要修饰的对象，应该是news

限制性和非限制性的区别在于，如果可以去掉该修饰成分而不影响句子的理解，那么应该是非限制性修饰。news of these shots原句采用的是非限制性修饰，而B和C选项都采用限制性修饰。我认为即使去掉后面的修饰成分也是可以理解的，而且E选项中的by swift messengers是用作状语来修饰took的，所以应该是非限制性修饰。如果文中只有news，而没有of these shots,那么就需要限制性修饰了！

在限制性定语从句中，A of B 作为先行词，that可以指代整个a of b
但是在本题中，应当为非限定性定语从句，故不能使用that
which只能指代最近的词，即a of b中的b，（例外是简短的介词短语可以在先行词和which之间）
本题中不符合条件，故不正确。

我对这些语法点的理解是否正确？

that作为限定性修饰的代词，如果指代a 和b,那么和从句中的逻辑关系岂不是很混乱
比如： I like the color of the building that was determined by the designer.
