收索了以前此题的帖子，理解正确选项D选项达成as much because...as because...对平行对比结构。

想再回到根本问题讨教：as much as 通常是加入形容词比较程度，本题改成because原因状语从句比较。
句子结构：主句，as much...as...  这里用逗号和主句隔开的as much...as...句子成分是副词as短语修饰做原因状语修饰主句吗？
如果以上成立，是否原因程度的比较都可以用此结构：
主句，as much 原因1 +as+原因2
I was late, as much because I got up late as because there was heavy trafi on the way.
                                                                                          
主句，more 原因1 +than+ 原因2
He is fat, more because he has eaten too much than he hasn't  taken any exercise.
