Should a nationrequire all of its students to study the same national curriculum until theyenter college? I think this speaker makes a unexact generalization. Although thereis no doubt that unified national curriculum important to some extent, it toolimited when made a generalization. And it is my personal convinction that one nation should unify certain specific courses such as math, physics and nature, but as well as set different courses in different areas of the nation.

Ideed, unifyingsome national curriculum is important to students. The evidence, for example,students should be put at same level to be compared before they go to college,is indisputable. So it is necessary for students to get same courses used as comparablecriteria for their entering college. However, cogent as it is, this assertionis too arbitracy to be accept.

To assert that onenation should also set different courses in different areas, one point thatshould be emphasized is that every country contains different nations withvarious cultures or languages. Let us take a look at the following instance.China has 56 nations, most of them developed their own culture and language intheir long history. If they threw away their legacies inherited from ancestors,China would indeed become a unified country without colorful diversity ofnational culture. Hence, it is one of the most credible evidence for myassertion.

Besides, there isanother unexceptionable fact that economies of different areas keep various.It is impossible to set computer or swimming course in poor towns. According tothe recent condition of economy in China, such as GDP of every province, it iseasy for us to find that most areas of china still have no ability to setmorden courses for student. According this fact, the validity of the assumptionthat economies of different areas keep various is conspicuous.

To sum up, it is cursory to assert that a nationshould require all of its students to study the same national curriculum untilthey enter college. Taking account for all factors mentioned above, I deem that one nation should unify certain specific courses such math, physic and nature,but as well as set different course in different area of the nation.
