OG对于D的解释：with does not concisely modify the noun French

可是查了很多资料 这里with前面没有逗号是直接修饰 French的，而不是做整个句子的状语，想问下这里OG解释是什么意思

with复合结构一般是做伴随状语，在这是是做定语修饰French，但是用法不对。
个人认为原因是：
**with结构作定语，表示有。。。的特征，强调with后的内容是所修饰词的一部分，是部分和整体的关系。
**从句子逻辑来看，English, Spanish, and Italian是之前被加进来的，这说明在被加进来之前还有一段时间这几种语言不是seventeenth-century French 的一部分；

综上，所以with用法有误!

那么在这里不是表示特征嘛0 0那种17世纪 的法语 被加入了多国单词

亲，这是OG 12 #95

红色部分的with结构做定语，修饰pattern，并用逗号隔开，所以我感觉OG 13的129这里的with也是同样的用法，修饰french，但应该用逗号隔开。这种解释比上面那种感觉靠谱些。。

至于为什么要隔开而不连在一起，我感觉是因为当with结构做定语处于句中太长时，如果不用逗号隔开容易造成逻辑的混乱。而with位于时，是否需要用逗号隔开，那就不得而知了。或者看看其他cders还有更加合理的解释没。
