请问这里indicate后的that为什么可以省略呢？那什么情况下又不可以省略呢？求解答〜谢谢！

我的第一感觉也是会先找that，但是发现句中的结构错的太离谱，就只能再找别的选项了；至于什么时候要that，我觉得还是根据出题来看吧，如果D选项，把that补充出来作为F选项的话，那么对比D与F的话，我想还是F会比较符合GMAT的口味。
1）首先each of the photographs为单数，那么Indicate应该为单数，则排除了A,B和C；尽管剩下的D和E，没有that
2）虽然你会执着于看B，但是会发现and结构的不平行，and前半部分是句子，后半部分是名词；怎么也不能选B
3）D，E中的extent of搭配，故剩下了D
