Hi, my friend. I’m happy to help! As you know, these two schools have similar offerings in terms of ranking and job placement rate. All things being equal, I suggest you choose NIU, since it has a better location. Being close to Chicago will give you more opportunities to build your connections and find internships. This is because there are more events and activities in a large city like Chicago. My biggest piece of advice is that you should be proactive in meeting new people and networking from day one. This will ultimately make it much easier to find a job when the time comes. Hope this helps!
