一个比较愚昧的问题. 为什么主句Rembrandt后没有谓语.

"treasured" 是动词treasure的过去时态做谓语，表示“珍视”的意思。

同意楼上的,解释准确,但是要我选择,我还真找不正确的答案,好象一个都不象!

因为后面一句肯定是个宾语补足语,用来修饰前面的"them",做补充说明用

of 是不是缺少一个代词指代his collection of Islamic portraits ？

首先，看到when forced to,就应该排除BCD，划线部分的主语一定是he,B中first位置不对

另外全句语态是一般过去式，E排除，因此选A

我觉得不缺，因为平时我们要复制20份某件东西，就会说 Give me a copy of 20.  所以of后面没有省略代词。
如果要把东西加进去，会说 Copy 20 of sth. 注意其中的区别。
