弱背景申请，求MFE选校，GSU VS Claremont ，标题略长，大家帮忙

RT，两个都没有综排的学校

Claremont的Financial Engineering大家都熟悉，不多说了
GSU的Mathematical Risk Management，不太了解，在读生没有太多信息共享出来，好像还可以读个精算的双学位

麻烦大家多多指点

LZ, GSU的风险管理我也申了，据学校官网的数据，这项目placement挺好的。另外精算的双学位是要另外单独申请的~

我发现这个的时候已经晚了。我问了个在校生，说到了那边也可以再申。而且它官网上用的词是Dual Degree Option，既然是option，我感觉就是完全自己做主的感觉，个人见解，求批判。另外请问：你是两个专业都录了吗？

我刚开始只申请了个精算，录取后我问小米双学位的事，她说要另外单独申请。然后我这个月初才提交了风险管理的申请~ 我不知道如果先被风险管理录取，再修精算，是不是也这么操作啊~
关于到那再申请双学位的事，我问过也是可以的。

非常感谢，这下就更确定了，觉得这个项目挺好挺实用的。
我估计应该也是要单独申请，网站上说邮寄材料都不用变，就两份网申就行了

Hi my friend, and thanks for your question. My suggestion is that you go to GSU and if possible, strive for the dual degree in actuarial science. This will be extremely helpful for your job hunting, since there is huge demand in the actuarial industry. If you have a master’s degree in this area, it will be much easier for you to land a job in the U.S. GSU also has a solid reputation in risk management and engineering. Thus, you will be well trained in your math and analytical skills. Hope this can help you make your decision!
