我的困惑在A选项
看了所有之前讨论的帖子，有解释说：A选项 "comma + like"是在修饰前面从句的主语，因此句子变成"owning and living ... is like a goal of earlier generations, 这样缺乏了a goal of young adults和a goal of earlier generations之间比较的意思，这么理解对吗？

like后面只能跟词，不能跟句子。as后面只能跟句子不能跟词

看了RON大神的解释，歧义最大的是that指代
that可以指代a goal 也可以指代a majority(个人认为房子 地 那些指代太特么不靠谱了)
然后就变成了
1.a goal of a majority of young adults, like a goal of earlier generations
2.a goal of a majority of young adults, like a majority of earlier generations

这个题很有意思，记得之前看过一个段子，说我有个梦想，和我爹一样，月入十万。其实是个歧义句，是我爹现在年入十万还是我爹也有个梦想年入十万？这就对应了这题的that，前面有若干指示对象。

这一题不是强调owning and living in a freestanding house on its own land 对年轻人和对老一辈都是同一个东西吗？美国梦没变过，和generation无关。所以that作为new copy来说是错的，需要it。like放在句尾歧义很多啊，怎么也不是优选答案。

这两个好像还有点不一样。不过原句也是有歧义。
