哪位NN讲讲看为什么要用AMONG, 仅仅是因为后面的动词形式平行么？ 而且among explaining the value and workings of archaeology 感觉上怪怪的，好象表达的不是很清楚。

应该是explain 与 promote 平行，因为从含义上看“revealing the mysteries of past and present cultures”是对“workings of archaeology”的解释，只能作为插入语，而不能作为平行结构的一部分，所以应该用between，ACE相比，A更好一些

这题真的有点奇怪

1) 有a balance among 的说法吗? 我从Longman字典上看到只有a balance between ? 我们一般的理解balance不都是两者之间吗?

2) among+3者以上的groups, 通常用法都是among them, among+ Noun….
有among Ving, Ving, and Ving这种用法吗?

感觉比较合理的答案是把(A)to promote, 改成promoting…., revealing和promoting平衡…??

有哪位大侠可以帮忙解释一下这题的结构和句意(我也狂暈~)!!
