1.    112 Requiring university students to take a variety of courses outside their major fields of study is the best way to ensure that students become truly educated.

I agree with the arguer’s broad assertion that participating in absorbing other areas’ knowledge contributes to their well-educational. However, the speaker unnecessarily extends this assertion to embrace methods whose results are controversial, while ignoring certain compelling reasons why some types of methods might be unjustifiable? My points of contention with the speaker involves the judgments as discussed below.

Admittedly, university students are considered to take variety of courses outside their major fields. It’s an obvious advantage that is a short way to inspire their potential energy of other areas. For the physics subject students, joining in the aesthetical courses, to some extent, develops their interests and proves their viewing of the world. Despite of the art courses, even though, achieving an attitude of living also benefits their daily life. For instance, cooking skills diverse their diet avoid of having simple and dreary meals repeatedly. Contradict to the beneficial points, falling into the net world may cause them lose their enthusiasm of science but adoring the imaginary world. Frankly speaking , quote J.K.Stephante’s research, 47% of the investigated people abandoned their own major because of the entice of other areas attract them seriously. To their surprise, most of them haven’t got any success in the new jobs. This statement shows us a cruel phenomenon if the students are not inspired in the outside fields, they are not seemed to be professional.

Although the outside courses are risk of participate in , if the students think of it impersonally and be calm of join in, the courses are of incredible benefits to the students. Take an example, a student who study literature have an interest in learning physics, has a chance to broaden his view of science that possibly used in his paper. Also, this student might truly find his interest in science rather than literature, like my professor Lambert Prince, who refused to study Europe Medieval History and became a Ph.D. of chemistry in Stanford. Doctor Prince sets a positive example for our university students who are hesitate in their favors. Why not take in other courses beyond your major , to see where your real interests are? If all of our college students realize this point, our future may be enlightened.

However, our society still acquires specialized talents as well. Due to this, we cant imagine our dentist have his career in university got poem education. We can’t afford that our judges are ph.D. in science. In terms of these, plenty of majors are not supposed to launch other courses belong to other subjects. Considered of the legal major students, they have enough works to finish, such as reciting the laws, refer to the cases before, etc. They have no spare time dealing with other subjects which do burden them inevitably. The medical learning students confront this problems as well. In my view, to the need of specialized students, emphasis on their major is the best way to ensure them become truly educated. As long as the arguer solve the problem above, his statement might have been a truth.

To sum up, developing courses outside major is, granted, a worthy goal; maintaining its own distinct between different kinds of students affords a paradoxical sense of truth. In the final analysis, the universities should consider of various needs of diversity majors of students before they provide outside field courses to their students。

我觉得第三段有点奇怪。这个论题是作者假设出来的,其实对你的中心思想来说,没有特别明显的作用,倒把正篇文章的逻辑和递进关系搞得不工整。
