LZ你好，我上个月收到了pace的邮件AD，但是纸质材料一直都没有寄来
我查了下邮件上说：
Please return the attached current 2013-2014 Pace Financial Affidavit and a supporting original bank statement (Mailed from the Bank) of financial resources in U.S. dollars (both dated within 6 months of your anticipated Pace enrollment) and a copy of your Passport (if you have not done so already) so that we may issue you an I-20.
是不是表示我得把财产证明和护照之类的扫描发过去才会寄I-20？

你好楼主 问几个问题

1  开学以后的placement test主要考的内容是什么？我想了解一下以便于临走之前复习一下。因为我托福是去年2月考的，已经好久没碰过了 生疏了许多。而且当时也是十分幸运的机经全中。。。。。。所以感觉还是踏踏实实的复习一下比较好。

2 我申请的是master of finaicial management  我想知道这个专业对数学有什么要求？本科的数学学的不好，想了解一下需不需要重新学习一下？如果需要的话，着重复习那块？高等数学？线性代数？？概率？

3 专业课的书 我想自己买 不想到了PACE在学校买 那样的话可能会贵很多。想问下在中国能不能买到pace需要的书？在哪能买到？？

4 比较好奇pace校园里覆盖wifi网络吗？需要花钱的吗？？

1.Placement Test 主要是测试你的英语程度, 包括听说读写。具体的信息你可以看下这个 link: http://www.pace.edu/eli/new-york-city-campus/register-classes

All students must take a Placement Exam before they are allowed to register for classes. The test is free. The test will take about two and one-half hours. It will include an interview, a listening test, a grammar test, a reading test and writing test. After the placement test, an advisor will help you decide which courses to take. You can register the same day.
If you are an F-1or J-1student, please bring your Form I-20 or IAP-66 form, passport, and I-94 card to the placement test.
PLACEMENT EXAM DAY - WHAT HAPPENS?
Students should plan to spend the full day at Pace University when they attend their placement exam.  Please arrive at 9:30am to the ELI Office.  On Placement Testing day students will:

1.         Take their Placement Exam
   
2.         Meet with an advisor to review the results of their exam and create a class schedule
   
3.         ay for classes
   
4.         Take their official Pace University ID photo (after paying)
   
5.         Activate their Pace e-mail account, learn how to access Blackboard, learn how to navigate Pace Portal, and receive access to Pace Wi-Fi network (after paying)
   
6.         Take a campus tour
   

Students that are unable to make payment the day of their placement exam have until the last business day before classes begin.  Any payment after this deadline will result in a late fee.  Until payment is made students cannot take an official University ID photo or access any of the Pace networks.  Students may still attend a campus tour without making payment on placement exam day.


2.MSF 肯定包含一些数学公式，但是不会要求你自己去推导，只要理解公式的含义，知道怎么用就可以了，所以对数学的要求不算高。跟高数绝对不是一个量级的。另外，中国来的学生，数学再差也比老外的好很多。如果你想复习的话，多看看概率和统计，尤其是正态分布那一块，用的比较多。

3.专业课的书，我还真不知到中国能不能买的到。不过，你可以查询下面的网页:

看看你打算上的课这个学期，老师都用哪些书，记下 ISBN 号，然后去www.amazon.com 或者下面这个网站上搜搜看
http://www.abebooks.com/
abebooks 上面很多都是 international version 的教材，软皮，封面可能和真正的教材不太一样，但是内容是完全一样的，价格便宜一半还多，大部分都是从亚洲国家寄出来的。我有8成的教材都是从这个网站上买的。

不过呢， 我不太建议你现在就买教材， 因为美国的教材大都不便宜，同一个老师可能会一直用一本教材，也有可能每年会换版本， 但是不同的老师，教科书可能会有不同。在你不确定可能会选哪个老师的课的话，还是不用着急买。

4. Pace 校园有免费的 Wifi。

你好，是这样的，一定提交银行开具的财产证明，还有你护照的复印件才给你发 I-20.

谢谢回复呀 收到录取了 不过还是要读一学期的语言 现在在努力准备托福呢

谢谢哈~那财产证明一般要开多少呢？一定要从银行寄原件过去吗？能不能扫描完邮件过去呢？

申请的财产证明要求能 cover 一年的学费加生活费就可以了，但是去大使馆签证的需要的财产证明要求能cover 整个program 的学费加生活费。我建议你一起开一个包括所有费用的财产证明，可以一起多开出几份。你可以自己寄，但最好是银行开出的原件。

楼主你好，请问pace对GPA要求会不会很严，本人GPA很低的说。。。。
