Hi there!Let me begin by saying I totally agree that ranking is not the sole factor you need to consider. Especially when thinking about future job hunting, there are many other important factors that will come into play. As for your specific question, generally speaking, it is a bit easier for accounting majors to get jobswhen compared with other business majors. Since accounting is a basic elementin all businesses, there are always many job opportunities in this field. Also, you need to train hard and master many techniques in order to become a great accountant.

If you choose to study accounting, I’d suggest you to take the CPA test. When considering programs, look into good locations like New York, Boston, or Chicago. Location is a big factor in helping you secure a great job after you graduate. Hope this helps!

Hi Jon! Thank you so much for ur reply!
please, recommend me some good universities in the 3 big cities you mentioned. Currently I only applied Fordham. But F requires lots of accounting background that  I don't have.
fyi, I'm a MSF student in the US now, and I did my undergraduate in the UK.

Hi myfriend, and thanks for your follow-up! Based on the quick information you’veprovided, it’s clear that you have an awesome educational background. Sinceyou’re already an MSF student here in the US, are you looking to get a seconddegree in the same area? Or are you looking to get a Master’s degree insomething other than finance?
For MSFstudents, location is crucial for job-hunting after graduation. You’d optimallywant to look for programs in Boston, New York, and Chicago. I’d suggest youcheck out Brandeis, Boston College, Boston University, Baruch College, PaceUniversity, University of Illinois at Chicago, and Loyola University. Hope this helps, and let me know if you need anything else!
