翻看了前面不少的讨论帖，暂时没看到我这种思路的，要是不小心抄袭了某位大牛的思路，请见谅。。。

前辈牛牛关于语意的解题方法我看懂了，但是可能是因为楼主太笨了，用语意解题总是解不好，今天翻看曼哈顿时发现上面关于agree的用法完全适合解这道题！

来自第五版曼哈顿：
Right:Electrons are particles that physicists agree exist.(对应C选项）
suspect:Electrons are particles that physicists agree on as existing.（对应D选项）
wrong:Electrons are particles physicists agree that exist.（对应B选项)
         Electrons are particles physicists agree to exist.（对应A&E选项）
如此即可选出正确答案C

提炼一下就是 S+that+sb agree(不加任何介词!）+V

我理解这道题的思路是，划线部分是逗号前global warming的同位语从句，而这个同位语从句又是由一个定语从句“that most ....fuels”修饰phenomenon组成的, phenomenon在这个定语从句中做宾语，由that指代。因为是定语从句，所以that 要紧跟在phenomenon后。
