Soo First of all with such a great GMAT and such a successful business, you are one of the few candidates that would have a REAL shot in R3. Your school list is great and totally makes sense. I might add MIT to the list and maybe Kellogg if they appeal to you. Apply to as MANY schools as you can in R3, because even if you are a strong candidate, it still is R3 and nothing is guaranteed!

So go for it! And let us know how you do!

Hello,

Let me list out a few key giveaways here.

1) It is good to know you are part of a profitable business at such a young age, but remember, your MBA application is all about YOU. What have you done? What leadership roles have you taken? What contributions have you made? What challenges have you taken on? This leads to the ultimate question: why you need a MBA, and how that can help you? Your argument should be backed by details and evidence.

2) You may want to justify your career goal. Prior to managing your startup, it seemed you wanted to dive into IB. Not sure which Citi division you interned with, but clearly EY is not IB.

3) Your GPA is much lower than AdCom would typically expect for business majors. It is not a decent score even if you are studying at highly competitive schools. You need to justify this as well, especially you have literally no post-graduate full-time working experience.

4) Final advice: take some time and reflect on the question "why MBA". You do have an interesting background, but I do not see too many of your qualifications here.

Best,

Any time. Stanford admits single digits (<5) college seniors each year, and you might want to take a look at 2+2 class profile to benchmark yourself while crafting your school list.

You need a really solid story to make your application stand out.

Good luck.

Stanford definitely admits more than single digit college seniors each year. Almost 20 or more each year. And among them there are definitely some entrepreneurs. Especially this year the first round admitted college seniors are more from a traditional background. I think you have a good shot.

No one else but the AdCom knows the final decision. So just try it.

Good luck!
