1、A、B选项为什么不平行？怎么改可以平行？表示理不清
2、E选项改成 their bodies' burning calories 是不是就和 their eating too much 平行了？

个人看法啊，不一定正确。

A选项，先不说它的结构会不会造成混乱，但就从句后的部分来说，是句子和名词相比较，不平行。

B选项，比较对象不明，是bodies 还是 burning 与 eating 比？eating 前没有逻辑主语。

E选项，LZ的改法可能有点问题，个人认为这里是强调动作，不适合用所有格，用普通格反而更好。E选项的问题是名词成分在表达原因上不如句子更精确。

the fact 是wordy 的，more due to ...than due to 这个才是平行，  overeating 谁OVEREATING了？没主语 突兀的出现了overeating

due to their bodies burning calories too slowly than to eating too much  
due to 的是 burns calories too slowly , 不是due to body.  eating too much 很akward，没主语没啥的

E
改法也不对 。body能自发 burning ，eating 跟to much 跟前面不平行。
burning of wordy,能简洁的主谓宾解决问题的 就甭用v ing  ,noun of 之类。
