Hi there, my friend. To be honest, you’ve got a great background. Also, you have a solid GPA and relevant work experience. Your standardized test scores are fine, though it would be best if you could bring your TOEFL above 100. At this point, the most important piece of the application for you to focus on is the essay. Graduate school applications are more than just a competition for the highest GPA or GMAT scores. We like to say that numbers are important, but they’re only the beginning. Your application is a comprehensive evaluation of you as an individual. From your quick introduction, I can see you have strong ability in your studies and very clear goals. In your essays, you should find compelling, emotional stories about you that showcase your core competencies and qualities. This is the BEST way to convince the admissions committee that you are the perfect candidate for their program. Your essay is your chance to tell them who you really are, so don’t hold back! For schools, I’d suggest you check out Norte Dame, University of Michigan, and Texas A&M. These programs definitely fall into your range. Jon Frank HBS 2005 -- by 会员 JonFrank (2013/1/7 13:49:53)
