Howdy, my friend. To you question, I don’t think you Seems to me that you don’t need to worry too much about your current GPA situation. You didn’t provide much information about your background I don’t see too much background info, but I’m guessing you’ve got a pretty good range based on from your school selection , yeah?I have a good sense about your range. ADs from these schools mean that you have really impressive achievement and great potential to be successful on your career path indicate an impressive achievement on your part and the promise of a good career. The schools won’t change their decision just because your GPA is dipping by 0.1, a relatively small amount.

Application to graduate school is not only a competition about your GPA or your GMAT score just a numbers game; it’s about more than just a great GPA or GMAT. It’s more of a comprehensive evaluation about you as an individual comprehensive evaluation of you as an individual, taking into account not only past performance but future potential. So what you really need to work on now is to write good now you need to focus on writing awesome essays with compelling stories and convince the admission committee you have compelling stories to demonstrate you competencies and you are the candidate they are looking for. Those are the next step in convincing the admissions committee that you’re an applicant to admit!

多谢多谢，如此详细的回答，谢谢大神！我也知道每个申请人的各方面条件加到一起才是完整的，GPA只是其中一部分……


不过楼主本身其他条件没有太多亮点啊，尤其是finance方面，上过的相关课比较少grade又比较凄惨，特别是essay，因为写得比较匆忙，所以finance部分也没有好好illustrate，只是说自己上过了哪些课和笼统地说了下internship时为了project学了哪些finance知识，是我math&stats，cs，finance四个部分中写得最少的……


楼主的推荐信草稿里倒是有着重讲自己学fin math时的enthusiasm辅佐了些例子，不过这些例子大有吹牛成分不知道会不会被推荐的老师删除= =何况这门课还grade凄惨。。

Hi there, and thanks for the follow up! The MFE program isquite different from the MSF. It’s more of a Math major than a Finance major. MFEprograms enroll many students with science and engineering backgrounds, some ofwhom have no foundation in finance. In applying for MFE programs, math andcomputer skills are more important than knowledge in finance. Of course, solidfinance experience is always a plus. It will definitely add value to yourapplication if your recommenders emphasize your finance knowledge.
It’s really true that everyone has core competencies, goodqualities, and compelling stories. You just need to dig into your experienceand find those highlights. Take your international education experience, forexample. You must have some interesting stories from that, stories that woulddifferentiate you from other people in your area.
