谢谢你的回复，我9８年华中理工自动化毕业，后一直在通用电气做市场营销。离开公司时为产品经理， 现在加拿大熬移民监。 uw and u of maryland  都没有给我钱， university of south carolina　给我全奖。　我对选择ｕｗ　还是马里兰不太清楚，我毕业后打算还是先在美国工作几年，然后回国。　希望得到你的指点。谢谢

Maryland的理工科比较好，所以Bschool的MIS比较强，排名也很靠前。UW 这次分科排名accounting很高。一般认为，它的finance也不错。你是学自动化的，以后还想和专业结合的话，感觉Maryland更合适些。不过，那咱们就不能做同学了，hehe..

Ali 我觉得你所引段落对UW有溢美之意，因而失去了应有的参考意义。UW当然是个好学校，又在大城市里，毕业生就业也会好些，但不管怎么说，也还是个regional学校，同斯坦福伯克莱还是有距离的，尤其是对MBA选择而言。大家商榷。

gglchust：我若是你，要么选资金代价最低的USC，要么选UM图就业空间更大些。回国以后这些学校在国内没什么区别。（BTW, 我也是HUST的。好运。）

请大家帮我出出主意：

三月份收到Olin的offer，包括每年14000美金的奖学金。因为那时Carnegie Mellon和Wharton都放我在Waitlist上，而Olin却要求4月30日前必须确认，所以我发了确认信和600美金的保证金。现在在准备Visa 的application中，但前天收到CMU的offer，包括每年5000美金的奖学金，需要在6月4日前确认，如果接受，需要交1200美金的保证金。而Wharton又把我放到了Summer Waitlist 里，最早的结果也要在6月24日出来。坦诚地说，Olin对录取的学生所做的工作无可挑剔，从整体有效运转的招生程序就能看出学校的有序管理，学生也很友好且willing to help。本人工科背景，从事过工程设计、行政管理，目前从事市场营销工作，将来希望从事实业的全面管理工作。这样的录取结果和顺序很让人烦恼，想听听朋友们的建议。非常感谢。

charlie: Olin is the biz school of Wash U, not the one of UW. You can refer to the WashU thread in this website.

If I were you, I will "postively" wait the result of Wharton.

Charlie: CMU is also a good choice, especially fit persons like you with a tech background. Better than Olin in my eyes. My concern is the total expense it demands. You have to weight whether it is worthy. For Wharton, it is.
