题目 All parents should be required to volunteer time to their children's schools.

Whether should all parents be required to volunteer time to their children’s schools or not never fail to trigger debates over human being. A part of people cling to the belief that all parents should spare time to volunteering in their in their children’s schools . The other side of this view is quite the opposite .As far as I am concerned, not all parents need to spend time in school for their children.



Admittedly, education is not only the job of teacher. When our parents throw their children to school ,it does not mean that the education of their children is something not related themselves then. Besides ,combined with parents’ help ,education for their children will be much easier than not .For instance ,when I was in high school ,my parents were quite busy with their business ,and they were not concerned with my performance in school .As a result , I did not study well in school .It was not until my teacher had talked with my parents and criticized my parents for their unconcern of my performance in school ,which led my parents began to volunteer time for supervision of my study ,that had I begun to study hard .Through this example ,we can draw a conclusion that time spent by parents in school for volunteering exerts a significant effects on their children education.



However, this does not justify that all parents should be required to volunteer time to their children’s schools. Firstly ,not all parents have the time to be spent in school .If parents who are busy with their work are forced to spend time in school ,they will become quite discontented ,which may leads to their abuse of school’s irresponsibility .Besides , if school which are regarded as a small society prepared for children’s further infusion of the true society are added too much influence of parents , isn’t is ,in fact , a regression ofschool’s function? Furthermore ,with too much parents’ involvements ,the normal teaching activities of school will be influenced largely ,which is harmful for their children’s education as well.



From what have been discussed , there is nothing to prevent us to bring to a safe conclusion that we need not require all parents spend time in school for their children in spite of some minor advantages brought by this ,for this action’s negative effects outweigh its advantages .
