我的一个朋友给我的建议。我读了很多遍，觉得非常有价值。不敢独享，与CDer一起share。
Application essays are critical. I would say they are probablly more important than GMAT score. When you write essays or have an interview, try to focus on the following:
a. where possible, alwasy use examples to illustrate your ideas and your thoughts. They like stories. Do not just give them abstract thoughts.
b. give a consistent story and background of yourself. explain each major step or change that you made in the past and why you made such a move.
c. elaborate your career goals and how MBA is necessary for your objective. tell them you have prepared for this day your whole life and now is the right time.
d. Always try to use numbers to describe your achievements, be it cost saving, increased sales, etc.
e. Keep a good balance of team work and leadership. They like both, but different school has distint taste. |
