   When it comes to the topic that people today are easier to get educates than those in the past ,I always remember what my father said to me “You are smarter than me.” I have to adimit that it was  no more than a family joke.. However, It rendered me a sophosicated thiking . Do people really get more convenience in becoming well-educated? From my point of view , the answerdefinitely turns out to be “Yes”   People in the modern society broaden ways they can gain knowledge . There are several reasons contributing to this conclusion.
    First, with the full development of education system , almost everyone gains the access to entering the university or getting oppotunities for further study. We have the ability to accept knowledge in the class from professional instruction. People in  schools study on a specific major, along with various elective courses, which make them knowlegeable in all aspects. Taking my friend , Lexi, as an example, she once studied in the Peking University majoring in Law, while at the same time , she chose Maketing as a minor subject.  She also participate in Chines Calligraphy and Apprieciation of Oil Painting. And now she is studying in Law abroad in Australia for a graduate degree .

    Second, thanks to the improvement of technoledge, people nowadys are with much more access to acquiring information,which means that people are allowed to  well-educated with different forms of materials, but in a shorter period of time. For instance, people in the past had to spend days in the library when they were trying to searching for some relative information about certain subject. However , as almost every family owns a computer now, people could shorten the process of information searching, considerablly with the help of cliking the buttom of some searching engines ,which takes no more than two seconds.

Besides, considering that people are under overwhelming pressure from the boosting number of competitors resulting from the growth population ,they are more motivated in the process of knowledge gaining. For example, though many people who work in office are buried in piles of papers all day long, they have to learn much more knowledge in order to keep pace with the trend of times.


As can be seen above, because of abundant opportunities for studying, many easier ways to acquire knowledge ,as well as the stronger motivation of gaining knowledge, people are on the way to be well-educated. in our advanced society,
