Hey there, good question indeed my friend!
I see that Personal essays can sometimes be pretty difficult for people, cause they don’t know what to write. I think the best place to start thinking from is the truth. Meaning first: what REALLY is your most significant personal accomplishment? The time you led a trip of 20 people to the top of mount Everest? The time you saved the life of your best friend??
Then, when you have some ideas, the second question to ask yourself is: What will I GET out of it?? Meaning, in terms of leadership, teamwork, communication skills,  etc. Even if the story is personal, you can still be a LEADER in a personal story!! And you want to use every essay in your application to get the MOST out of your potential.

This question is actually asking for PROFESSIONAL experience.

lz, 我家那个也在报emory goizueta。觉得既然是工作上的，那就主要要突出你的leadership skills。就算你不是老板，但是你有make an impact, show interpersonal skills, communication skills, taking initiative什么的。

这题奇怪在给出一个example并不是关于曾经的经历，而是在如何contribute Emory.
