由上可以看出，because只是给出一个解释，而不确定为真，而in that则为正式的书面用语，强调其真实性

2. 句子中的位置

in that不能位于句首,其表达形式为“句子+in that+句子”

但是because可以位于句首

所以，在 “ 句子 －？－ 句子”的时候，优先选择 in that

我认为楼主没有必要问的这么清楚，其实只要知道in that有时候，可以用来代替because就可以了，而且可能用in that的时候，更加书面化一些。

顶起！我也不明白这里，可能他们用的是OG10吧，年头太早了，ETS的偏好改变了。

我也是在看OG11的时候，看到注释里写IN THAT太正式了，一般不用，所以做大全的时候直接排除了有IN THAT的选项。

希望大牛出来解释一下！！！
