[求助]twe 097 恳请大家帮助修改,多谢

开头和结尾套用模板,这样觉得会写的顺一些,不过会显的没有新意很枯燥。另外,第一段的理由不知道合适不合适,NN们给些意见吧。多谢了。

TWE097 do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Teachers should be paid according to how much their students learn.

In the daily life, people are always confronted with a lot of questions, analysis of which will help people to make better decisions. One of such intriguing issues is whether teachers should be paid according to how much their students learn. Facing this question, different people will present different answers due to respective experience and standpoints. As far as I am concerned, I do not agree with the statement of paying teachers according to how much their students learn. The reasons are presented as follows.

To begin with, there is not a suitable standard to evaluate how much students have learned. Although tests and examinations are usually used to check how much students learn in school, they are not reasonable indeed for sometimes tests are easy and sometimes they are difficult. The results cannot reflect the real situation of students’ studying. Moreover, besides the academic knowledge, students also learn other skills and techniques from teachers, such as cooperative ways of thinking. How to measures such results is also a difficult problem.

Next, it is unfair for teachers if they are paid according to how much their students learn. Learning is a two-way process, which needs both teachers’ and students’ endeavor at the same time. As we know, each student has different intellectual level and different studying methods and habits. Some students who have outstanding comprehensive ability and study very hard usually learn a lot from teachers. However, those students who do not like to study and spend most of their time on other things such as playing computer games would consequently fail to attain a good achievement. From this aspect, it is not advisable if teachers are paid according to how much students learn.

In addition, students would be negatively affected. For instance, if teachers want to get a higher pay, they would push students to study more knowledge, like assigning excessive homework. This will lay a heavy burden on students inevitably. To finish assigned homework, students may have to stay up night and occupy their sleeping time which is necessary to maintain a health body. Gradually, students may lose their interests on studying and lose their physical fitness as well.

To sum up, for the reasons which have been discussed above, I totally disagree with the statement that teachers should be paid according to how much students learn.
