我有来两个地方不太明白：1.them 和 these 用法的区别是什么？在这道题里到底该不该用呢？
                                   2.对earning 和earned的用法还是搞不懂呢...
另外，按OG 的解释是earning本意修饰的是pilot。那我就想问现在分词不是修饰的是前面那一句吗？怎么能修饰前面某个名词呢？

原句中是so that句型错误，把that丢了。为什么C选项被加粗了……感觉C用where引导at a time就是错误的。所以如果题目没有抄错，答案应该是E，没有考虑到them和these的问题。额，我是用语感做的，所以你的其他问题没法回答，抱歉。

反正就是this，these, those, that不可以代替名词（除非that， those add something）
而it， its， them, they可以

刚好做到这道题，说下我个人的意见。
1. these在句子中不能裸奔，如果要指代的话，需要用these + n.这种形式；而them则不需要用这种形式，可以直接指向需要指代的先行词


2.
A. v-ing有三种用法：
    1) 做伴随状语，其伴随主句谓语，其逻辑主语是主句主语
    2) 做结果状语，也就是说其修饰前面整个主句，是前面整个主句的动作引起了这个结果。
    3) 在主系表, v-ing这个结构中，修饰逗号前面紧跟的名词


B. 我个人理解，earned在这里做定语，修饰前面的speed records

我是想问这道题的D选项...答案说time后的正确关系代词是when ，而D中用的是in which，我就不明白了 这两个不是可以替换的吗？

these不能裸奔，这是最主要的问题~~形容时间肿么可以用where呢？  earning的用法没有错~~
