关于网上资料填写GPA这栏，需要自己换算吗？还是可以直接填写100进制的GPA? 我查看NYU网上只是提到要上传翻译过的transcript，但并没有提到GPA填写的问题。

学校应该有XX out of YY的吧。看你们学校开出来的transcript是什么进制的，但是一般都是XX out of 4吧。
其实最保险还是发邮件给admission问一下吧，如果你真的觉得很困惑的话。

我的Transcrip上没有，只列出了每门课的credit和分数。平均分还是我自己算的呢。更变态的是，中文版是100分进制的，英文翻译是ABCD制。 :-( 我还是去问下adcom保险。

问过了Adcom，以下答复供大家分享：

Thank you for your email and interest in NYU Stern.  For the online application, please do not calculate a GPA or convert your grades to the US grading system. You may enter your GPA as 0.0 in the application and explain this in your Essay 4.  Our Committee understands that different institutions evaluate students in different ways and will review your academic performance within the context of each school’s grading system.

请问一下楼主，你觉得Stern除了位置在纽约之外，最让你觉得有价值的是什么地方呢？
还有就是如果我当前是已经辞职1个月了，一定要在essay 4里面解释得很清楚么？我看很多人选择不解释……不知道会怎么影响申请结果啊。

这点我持不同意见哈。


Stern的校友在VC行业的不少，每年学校也会有VC和PE专场招聘会。如果大家有人真的想做VC，Stern的校友网络绝对可以帮到你，毕竟大多数Banker的Exit Strategy还是去买方。每年学校也都会有各种各样的buy side trek，今年我们拜访了富达、BNY Melon以后，发现里面都是有不少Stern校友的。Sell side的银行就更不用说了。


不过总体来说，VC和PE更亲睐以前有相关工作背景的人，所以很多还是看个人背景和实力吧。

If you want to focus exclusively on VC, Stern may not be the right school for you, try some schools in west coast like Stanford GSB

I think it is very hard to get Top PE job offers immediately after MBA. I find some Sternies go to PE firms after working in BB banks for a few years

Stern 有做VC的校友吗?
能介绍下中国同学毕业后从事买方如VC/PE, hedge fund和做equity research的情况吗?

您好 我现在正在准备各种文件  请问 我学校的英文成绩单上没有GAP成绩 只有ABCD四个分数档 这样的话可以么 还是我还是得单独写一份NYU的selfreporttranscripform 非常感谢
