i think your application to Wharton depends on who writes your recommendation. can you get a good letter from a famous/productive US accounting faculty?

Yeah, I am working on my thesis with an Accounting professor in a Top US B School, but the problem is that we had only two discussions on my thesis proposal and I feel that will not be sufficient to ask for his recommendation. Other potential references are not on the tenure tracks but on the lecturer tracks. May I have your advice on the references?

OK, well, i guess there is not much you can do right now. worth to ask that top school person, but make sure he/she would agree to write you a 'good' letter. you need to ask him explicitly on this - 'can u write a GOOD letter for me?'

you think it's easy to get a good letter just because taking one class, you are naive ,the writer has his mind.
