问一道GWD的语法题

colones是指无性繁殖，或者是克隆系（相当于是一种整体概念）
而members of不用多说就是描述个体
所以：LZ肯定记得：整体不对个体的比较原则
E错
D中homogeneity 是指同源体（含义上就是colones）

人家说答案选E的。

其实D和E的区别在于逻辑含义 到底要用那个做逻辑主语

比如说： 因为装配了新轮胎，骑车可以跑很快  而不能说  因为装配了新轮胎， 人可以开车开更快。

本题是说，因为彼此像是clone出来的（就是说基因几乎一样），猎豹种群成员由于这种基因同一性易受到疾病伤害

homogeneity不是同源体的意思，是指基因一致性，相同性

我的想法跟你一样，这就是为什么我困惑了，因为很显然这么想是错的。呵呵。

搜到了这道题，不太明白like在这里是什么意思？
还是作为比较的么？
因为在GMAT里面好像没有看到like做为比喻的含义。。。

看到beatgmat说，这里前面的Almost like clones in their similarity to one another是作为修饰成分出现的，主语应该使得their有所指代。。。不太懂了。。。

前面其实当做修饰语成分就好啦。。。不用管是不是比喻呀什么的，咱可以变一下就好看了：members of the cheetah species ARE like clones in their similarity to one another. "in their similarity to one another"作为adv modifier，那么对应主语应该是"members' similarity".

这就是说明为什么主语应该是their的表现，有所指代
或者是把句子变成：In their similarity to one another, members of the cheetah species ARE like clones.，很清晰的状语修饰
