一道让我非常困惑的比较语法题

答案是E. 百思不得其解。不是wealthier...more polished people 跟 he比较吗？还有为什么A,B,C的who不好，需删掉。

比较的是句子中的介词宾语，than之后不应该补出助动词，C错；had been过去完成时不合理，B/C错；D中的费多音节形容词比较级不用搭配more表示；he was ...who was...算是wordy了，who之后的修饰成分可以直接变成前一个was的表语，不用再使用一个从句，不够简洁，记得OG上有说过一个类似的it is something that is是wordy的话。

第三层：比较对象：wealthier better-educated and more polished people [主]dominated[谓] a world[宾]

                            than

                           he[主] dominated[谓] a world[宾]

    这里由于比较的是不同主语，本应做出补足，但是由于省略不会造成歧义，所以省略补出。
