31. Some people spend their entire lives in one place. Others move a number of times throughout their lives, looking for a better job, house, community, or even climate. Which do you prefer: staying in one place or moving in search of another place? Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.

It’s a constant debate as to whether people spend their entire lives in one place or move a number of times throughout their lives to purchase better life. With respect to this issue, I prefer the latter alternative while rejecting the former choice. I will further justify my preference as follows.

First and foremost, moving from one place to another makes my life more colorful. On the one hand, I can acquaint myself with a lot of customs and cultures, and learn more knowledge in a new place. This expands my eye sight and enriches my experience. On the other hand, I can make more friends in different places. They are one of the most valuable treasures in my life.

The second reason that cannot be ignored is that I can improve my adaptability through such a kind of process. Compare with staying in one place, which provide relatively fixed life route and institutionalized life style, moving to some other places give me so many different things to modify and adapt, thus greatly enhance my adjustability, and will make an desirable impact on my study, life and career in the future.

Last but not least, moving to another place supply me more opportunities. Because of lots of places I lived and plenty of information I got, I can get more opportunities. Such as better job, good house, or climate that suits me well.

In conclusion, based on the three reasons I presented above, moving several times throughout the live can provide a lot of benefits to people. As a result, people should move at least one time to another place to experience a different type of life.
