博士学习能帮我发表论文吗？

我可以告诉你，大部分的faculty一辈子都发布了top-tier的文章。能发的只是少数。这个不仅在会计领域，在任何领域，不论商科还是理工科 都是这样。


能发top只是极少数，否则每个人都能成为大牛！

可是我看那些学校的faculty，大部分都有top-tier的publications啊。。。。。。

你看的都是好学校吧。 美国有好几百所teaching school，这些都是正规大学，你去看看他们faculty的publication就明白了。


之前CAR有篇文章，统计刚毕业的会计PHD6年之内发论文的情况。我记不太清楚了，好像只有10%左右的人可以发到3篇或者3篇以上。

其实LZ读过经济phd，我说的这些应该都明白。 商科领域的情况都差不多。


为了cheer up一下LZ，我告诉你今年会计的job market非常好，以后还会更好 ：）

从来没敢想过如果毕业后只能去一个不知名的小teaching school会怎么样。
是不是还不如现在呢？
那读博不是还不如不读呢吗？

honesty, i don't think you are suited for PhD. You will often feel extremely pressed during your phd study, and i don't think you are strong enough to handle the pressure.

不是phd学习的压力大，而是其它方面的压力大。
我之所以这么犹豫是有原因的。。。。。。

going for a PhD is NOT the only path leading to a meaningful and happy life. it appears to me that you could have entertained yourself in a far better way than what you have gone through all these years ....

there is always one other way that is right there waiting for you. don't miss it until too late.

是啊，我不太会玩，老想再把博士学位念下来，所以这几年都在为这个做准备，但是没什么效果，所以有点沮丧。
