Parent can help their children in several ways, just as the state mentioned one way is to encourage them to take a part-time job, however from my point of view, this method is just ordinary method even can not say as a good one.
Firstly, parents’ most important role in children's education is as a teacher to guide their future. Take myself as an example, my father always tell me that as a man you must to care about your future and make plan for your furture. When I have some problems in how to choose my caree or whether I should choose go abroad for further study or work first. He always gives me some useful advices that I must take a long sight to choose the things. So this kind of life lessons are more useful than just taking a part-time job can offer.
Despite I admit that to take a part-time job is a good way to enhance our social experience, It also has a lot of other ways we can absorb society knowledge. Our parents are experienced people that have a lot of experience we can benefit from. They can tell us some social experience and convey the idea in a more efficient and living way that what can not get from part-time job.
Thidly, we are now still the students and our main mission is to study and gain more knowledge that we can use in our furture job. If parents encourage us to take part-time job, it will make us at a delimma to choose between study and work which is at the first place.One of classmates used to study very well and often get the highest score in class, but because his family was too poor to surport his study fee, he had to do some part-time job to earn some money. So it has a big inflence both on his health and his study. At last he did not pass the colleage entrance examination.
As what I just mentioned is just some reasons that we can make the conclution that the idea parents encourage their children to take a part-time job is perhaps not as good as stated. |
