请教maybe的用法

(B) is probably the most difficult to analyze

(C) is maybe the most difficult for analysis

(D) is probably the more difficult to analyze（B）

(E) is, it may be, the analysis that is most difficult

In A and C, the use of maybe is unidiomatic, and difficult should be completed by the infinitive to analyze.

答案选对了，只是不明白maybe用在这里为什么错？请问在表示“可能”这个意思的时候maybe和probably有什么区别？maybe的正确用法是什么样的呢？谢谢

这个错误应属于effectiveness类型，GMAT语法中 ETS将口语化的词汇列为 Effectiveness incorrect. 因此probably 比maybe好。但是按照改错的优先级Effectiveness incorrect应在corrective incorrect之后.

(it) is difficult to do sth 是固定搭配，不定式做补语。又根据比较级和最高级的用法可得，只有B对.

所以在拿不准probably与 maybe的区别时，也可得出正确答案。
