Hello there, my friend! To begin, whoever told you your background is too weak didn't have a good enough look at your background. Your GPA might not be perfect, but your GMAT and TOEFL aren't bad at ALL (although for top schools, you may wanna even push HIGHER than 105...  And your ECs (the volunteer and internship in particular) are great. Don't be discouraged by the responses from the top programs, my friend, there are PLENTY of great programs out there that you can have a FINE chance of getting into! Your current school list looks very realistic to me, but tack on U Virginia, U Iowa, U Georgia, and UW - Madison. Great programs, and you might have a better shot, my friend.
