radio本来被认为是telephone的替代品，（telephone是只能两个人通话） 但是相反 radio成为了a tool for commuicating with large public audience--因为radio是broadcast,广播，它link了很多人的沟通。
所以it 不可能指telephone

语义上是这样的，可是sc不能单看语义吧，这里radio不是唯一的单数名词，conception也是，而且radio也不是核心词。。 逻辑上前后两个分句是对称的，那语法上怎么分析呢？

但是正确答案是C 啊 没有用conception 而是用了conceive. 根据manhattan verb>adj>noun
所以排除了a
做语法嘛 本来就是用排除法选择最好的
