9月10日独立 Have you ever been alienated by your colleagues ? Have you ever been job-hopping since you cannot tolerate the bad temper of your boss? Have you ever been blamed since you cannot cooperate with co-workers? If you have never experienced such things, you might hold the wrong opinion that only having excellent knowledge for job can we gain the ultimate triumph in fierce job competition. In fact, I have witnessed the struggle and paradox of the youngster when they first enter job environment.
First and foremost, the adaptation of new environment easily strengthens the connection between us and co-workers. The earlier we can adjust to the environment, the more possible we can blend into the social circle of company, which could benefit employees greatly. We cannot emphasize the important(importance) of team work too much. As a general employee, quickly integrating into work group enables us to accomplish our task more effectively and efficiently. Tons of time, wasting on tackling interior contradiction, will be saved. As a leader assigned recently, team group provides us a platform to deeply learn the capacities of workers. It is hard for me to image that a leader who has been kept away from teams can accurately distribute tasks to each of employees. According to a survey conducted by national statistic Bureau of China in 2012, people who can quickly adapt to the environment are able to finish 20 percent more works with one week than the unadjusted ones. That could be explain(be去掉) the phenomenon why the increasing number of people pay attention on job adaptation rather than excellent work skills.
Further more, adapting to the circumstances offers people with more opportunities to succeed. Compared employees to seeds and company to soil, if one of seed is unable to adapt to the soil, it will be overcome by other seed and eventually wiped out. However, if it can adjust to the condition of soil greatly, it will beat others obtain more nutrition and advantage, such as operation experience from co-workers, the opportunities of advancement and so forth, and become a huge tree someday. For instance, my uncle hired by The General Motors with another three candidates two years ago. He is the only one person who did not have certificate of high accountant among all of people, but he more swift adapt to the job than any others. He is the first one operating adeptly the company software to finish report form. He is the first one blending into work group and he is also the first one got appreciation of all people in company. Eventually, his is also the only one who was promoted within one year. This case are not rare and we can draw a conclusion that it is easier to gain access to success with well adaptation instead of job skill.
Admittedly, preeminent job skills have themselves advantages. Job capacity is a stepping-stone to success; they(it) provide us more possibility (possibilities)to be recruited by operation. However, in the sight of long-term, without well adjusting capacity equaling with job knowledge, we cannot survive in the competition of company, let alone thriving. After all, the knowledge of job could be acquired gradually from a multitude of job experiences.
