一道PREP语法题~求 亲们 指点~

正确答案是C 我选了B。
看了有 four times as likely as ... to  do 这样的用法，
但是是说 B. four times more likely than... 这样的用法不对吗？还是有别的错？
我最开始是考虑到C 有改变原意的嫌疑····

要看这句子的本质，不要只看用法。
这句话是想说，minority graduates are likely to plan on practicing in socioeconomically deprived areas.
B选项：
minority graduates are nearly four times more likely than other graduates who plan on practicing
who plan on practicing是modifier，我们只看主干部分
minority graduates are nearly four times more likely than other graduates
more likely怎么样呢？只是说minority graduates are more likely than other graduates??这样没有意义~

several times more+adj+than ... to do
B这个句子错就错在后面不该用who引导的定语从句，而从句是不能参与主句成分的。导致主句中more likely 后指代的动作不明，主句缺成分。换成 to plan on practising 就对了。

若是换成 to plan on practising 就对了吧~

哈哈~LS的某位说的很明白啦~这题用idiom果断排除B呀~ be likely to do~看到likely要敏感,因为太常见了,而且很简单^^
关于这种xx times more than.../ as xx times as好像没有优劣之分,因为老外也分不清楚(记得以前一个GWD的视频讲的~)所以这个就不要当作eliminate点啦~而且,多四倍和是四倍都是=4*X的意思~所以也不算改变愿意撒~总之不要拿这个split了~
这题蛮多其他点的,还有DE很wordy,好比我不说 it is expected that sb....而是说sb is expected to...

原来xx times more than .../as xx times as 是一样的呀~纠结的我一直以为一个是该大于几倍，一个是等于几倍呢~
