what the hell dose that mean? work experience is not required?

Look at the median, it's 4. Some people got in with no experience, or 18 years. They may be exceptional in some other aspects. Does not mean WE is unimportant.

I do agree with WWWZZZ. In every B schools you can find exceptional cases of low GMAT or little working experiences. But that does not mean it is the popular situation.
