Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Colleges or Universities should offer more courses to prepare students for the future before they start working. Nowadays, education plays a vital role in society, university study become the final brush on a masterpiece. In addition, some people consider attending university is the best way to lead them having a successful career. Therefore, they agree universities or colleges are supposed to provide more classes which would be better guide every student for the future jobs. While some one holds the different opinion. As far as I concerned, I totally agree the universities or colleges will give more courses that might help students better fit the after-days of work. For starters, as the rapid developed technology, companies are so love in “well-rounded”. Given the reason of market and globe financial nowadays, universities are supposed to set more courses than before to cater for this particular need of society: expertise at your major, master in every disciplines related to your major. My major is digital animation, after graduation, I looked for job as character animator, unfortunately, I got a job in motion graphic, I do love this challengeable job which is including some kind of animation making aspects, such as character design, lighting the set, but also software using, compositing, visual effect. If my school had not provided me with more courses that are broaden my view, as well as consolidate my basic knowledge of my major. I don’t think it’s easy to find a good job nowadays. Second, it is also important to provide students with information on job hunting including applications and interviews, but also salary negotiation. Many students graduate unaware of best methods of searching for a job or how to negotiation an appropriate salary. There should therefore be courses that inform students about this and offer advice that will help to single them out from the other applicants, as well as ensure that they obtain a fare wage from their employer. Finally, a good network matters is essential thing in our society. Recruitment often involves word-of-mouth recommendations: getting on a shortlist is easier if you have the right connections. Thanks to the university which had been set up various classes for students, given them the best opportunity to communicate with more people. By doing this, we will get more opportunities in our future works. Even from some databases that remuneration that based on networks is higher than the ordinary people.   erhaps there would be some more beneficial way to universities to deal with student’s future jobs. Inviting some lecture guests to give them some lectures; host some activities such as visiting exhibition, natural museums to expand their vision ect. As far as I concerned, however, I do like the statement I insist, universities should offer more disciplines for students that will give them a better preparation for the future career. |
