57. That educators have not anticipated the impact of microcomputer technology can hardly be said that it is their faut: Alvin Toffler, one of the most prominent students of the future, did not even mention microcomputers in Future Shock, published in 1970. A) B) That educator have not anticipated the impact of microcomputer technology can hardly be said to be at fault C) It can hardly be said that it is the fault of educators who have not anticipated the impact of microcomputer technology D) It can hardly be said that educators are at fault for not anticipating the impact of microcomputer technology E) The fact that educators are at fault for not anticipating the impact of microcomputer technology can hardly be said
我在C和D之间犹豫了很久,总觉得C才是更符合原句逻辑意思的,但官方解释是Construction that it is··· who have not is wordy and awkward; it also distorts meaning and lacks completion. 不明白哪里不完整了?请大牛赐教~~~
如2楼,C选项It can hardly be said that it is the fault of educators who have not anticipated the impact of microcomputer technology
这句话的主干是it can hardly be said that it is the fault of educators
what is the fault of educators?

E:the inverted construction does not successfully convey the meaning of the sentence? 两者就是换个顺序,the fact多余了点啊。。。
参看Manhattan里面pronoun的extra部分 #Placeholder it Sometimes it would be nice to move an awkward subject or object to the back of the sentence. Awkward: That we scored at all gave us encouragement Better: It gave us encouragement that we scored at all.

(C) It can hardly be said that it is the fault of educators who have not anticipated the impact of microcomputer technology C句said的内容是it is the fault of the educators, 内容不全。
(D) It can hardly be said that educators are at fault for not anticipating the impact of microcomputer technology D句said的内容是that后面的整句话,educators are at fault for not anticipating the impact of microcomputer technology.
