Hey there! First of all, YES, US schools prefer the TOEFL. The IELTS is a great exam for European programs, but for US based schools the TOEFL is more helpful for sure (even for schools that accept both, officially.) If you want to get into a top-30 program, yes, you will likely need to retake the GMAT. Why? Well...because it is just a tad low. I love your work experience and your extra-curriculars. And remember, schools accept PEOPLE not just profiles. : ) But sadly, your GMAT will need to go up just a bit to get into a top program. Hope this helps my friend. Good luck, and let us know if there is anything more we can do to help! Jon Frank -- by 会员 JonFrank (2012/7/24 15:52:15)
Thank you very much for your reply. I hope this is not too late. Well...I have taken the GMAT for the third time, but the result was not that good, I mean ,it was a disaster, actually... I have given up many things for GMAT ,like the family get-together. A few days ago I have got to know that my grandma is sick, seriouly. So I start to rethink all these, the exams, all the preparations for studying in a top program...and nothing, nothing can compare to the wish that I could stay with my family happily .
Anyway, I cannot appreciate your advice more. Thank you again. |
