OG解释：Logically, a “natural” food cannot contain any prohibited ingredient, so the list of prohibited ingredients must be connected by or.


也就是说foods必须不包含color or flavor additives, chemical preservatives, anything that has been synthesized中的任何一样！！
不考虑选项问题，只考虑这个连词，为什么要用or，而不用and呢？
OG对and的解释是 And distorts the meaning of the sentence，怎么了distort？？？

用and的意思是法律禁止「三者同時存在」，
也就是說只要有一種不加，另外兩個加是可以的。

但是看文意正常理解應該是：法律規定「三者中任一都不可以有」
所以才會用or。

谢谢你的解答~不过我还是不太明白~我有这么一个想法，不知道对不对：
在否定句中（do not contain），要表示几个成分同时存在时，要用or连接，而在一般的肯定句中，表达相同意思要用and连接~

我倒覺得還是要看句意。

比如像「tom, mary跟john三個人總不能同時相聚」
這樣的情形就只能用and表示。
代表它們任兩者碰面是ok的，
只是不能三個人湊合在一起。

如果這三人任兩者都無法碰面，那就是用or。

那你的意思是不是就是在否定句中，用and连接几个并列成分时，表示的是其中任意几个可以...，但所有成分不能同时...
但是or是表示所有成分不能同时...

OG解释：the substitution of the conjunction and for the conjunction or changes the meaning of the sentence: Stress, alcohol and rich foods identifies the combination of these three factors as a suggested cause of stomach ulcers, whereas stress, alcohol, or rich foods offers three individual possibilities.


我觉得这题和我上面提到的那题情形一样，但是og两次解释却是相反的
上面那题说or代表三者的combination，而这题说and是combination~

not caused by A,B and C ,意味不是由A,B,C的组合而引起的,也就是combination
而 not caused by A, B or C，意味着不是由A或B或C任何一个引起的，也就是individually---By Elroy大侠
两道题都是这个原则的~~

可是你看我举的第一个例子，添加剂那个~
or就表示A、B、C 同时 不能存在~谁存在都不行~
