请问：suggestion that 从句中的should一定要省略么？ suggestion that sb should do sth可不可以？

我对AB的理解是，as...介词短语作状语？那这里的状语修饰什么呢？修饰后面的scandalized？显然很没有合适的理由，即不是伴随，也不是原因，所以我排除AB。把它改成同位语修饰Elizabeth Cady Stanton更为合理。另外A中的should省略更为简洁？B中把原句的suggesion that+从句（表达整体概念），改成了suggestion of(表达部分的概念），不好,另外being也用得很怪。C是最明显的错误答案，两个being,还把后面的scandalized改成了had scandalized，这样的改发没有特别的动作发生先后肯定是错误的。E中的she要省略，in suggesting要改成by suggesting.

suggest这类动词的后面的宾语从句类要用虚拟语气，并省略should,很好理解，可是， suggestion that 是修饰suggestion名词的宾语从句啊，也要用虚拟语气并省略should吗？ 一定吗？ 拜托NN确认一下。。。

牛津里面的例句：There's no suggestion that she should resign. 没有任何迹象显示她要辞职.

所以我认为suggestion没有必须省略should一说，D之所以省略，因为by suggesting是当作动词的。

另外，不理解as的修饰差异。请NN再指点。
