1。据说career goal越详细具体越好，当然在你自己想清楚地前提下。你也可以给出几个option，这也完全是可以接受的。我觉得学校并没有表现出青睐要创业的申请者，至少有一半人的career goal不是创业。
2。申請的校區要在申請時就選定。profile上应该没有區別。但据说欧洲人喜欢去新加坡，亚洲人喜欢去法国。INSEAD面試的alumni給我的感覺超级好，是面试我的所有学校中感觉最棒的。
3。和美国比明显的优势就是它只有1年。（当然这个时候这也可能是劣势，2年之后再毕业说不定就业环境要好些）
4。欧洲形势不好，学费基本每年都在涨，不过这个好像和欧洲形势不好没有直接关系。
5。HEC是有luxury brand management的certificate的，不知道insead有没有。不过大不了也可以去HEC弄一个，这是一个额外的课程。好像1个月左右。我有点忘记了，我问过hec关于这个问题。

仰望樓上各位大牛，我想申2013Sep 的Intake，不知道各位拿到offer的牛牛可不可以pm給點建議＋解惑，當然最好之後可以跟各位保持聯絡，入學以後感受可能也會不太一樣:1) 職業規劃的問題: 本人念MBA，主要想從finance轉到brand management/marketing，我本科念的是finance，工作經驗在big4，雖然實習也做過一個marketing相關的，但是內容太水，現在也在努力尋找這類型的工作，看看申請前可不可以彌補一些，但這樣子寫職業規劃的時候，很怕因為沒有真實的經驗就給鄙視掉，各位有沒有類似轉career path然後申請成功的？還有，有沒有做brand mgt/marketing的同學可以share一下你們的typical day和career feedback？在談到自己的career aspiration的時候要注意些什麼？需要詳細到什麼程度？我看到網上很多範例，大家最後幾乎都想著自己創業，是不是喜歡做打工皇帝的就不受MBA學校青睞呢？
2) 申請的校區要在申請時就選定嗎？兩個校區的alumni你們自己接觸過嗎？會在個性上，profile上有很大的區別嗎？INSEAD面試的alumni給你們的感覺是怎麼樣的？能反映點INSEAD對學生的preference嗎？
3) 各位之前有沒有針對學校的course和career service跟recruitment board的人發過郵件？你們覺得INSEAD跟米國的MBA相比有什麼優勢和特點嗎？如果有過campus visit的同學，有試聽過什麼課程嗎？有什麼印象深刻的教授或者授課管理人員，他們撰寫的書籍之類可以推薦看看的嗎？
4) 歐洲經濟最近還是比較跌宕起伏的，如果選法國校區，會不會有漲學費的擔憂？現在已經很貴了。。。。另外，找實習的時候是不是也比較困難？Recruitment Board或者面試的alumni有沒有在這些問題上給過什麼意見或談過什麼經驗(畢竟2008年的時候也發生過了)？
5) INSEAD的MBA貌似也沒有concentration的吧？如果想做luxury brand management的話是不是也要另外念個certificate？

你申请的是fonty还是新加坡？我是在fonty开始。据说offical admission的email要一周左右呢。我也被要求发original transcript了，不过她说公证件是可以的。

话说offical admission的email收到了吗？还有有要求你们发original transcript吗？是表示要把我只有一份的原版成绩单和大学毕业证发给他们？如果是这样那么只会会还给我咯……

应该只是我汇报的比较早吧。不过看起来我们都是第一批被通知的！这是大好事！不然等得多焦急呀。看到这次申请里联系过的大家都收到消息好高兴呀～

公证件也可以的意思是不用寄学位证原件，只要寄复印件加公证件是吧？

Hi Gina, I saw sb admitted with a GMAT around 620 in GMATclub, you could check urself. There are threads for each intake with lots of stats.
But on the other hand, the Chinese pool will be relatively high in terms of the GMAT score. If you check the previous INSEADer admission threads here, the lowest I saw is around 680 (might be wrong).


There was one people took the test twice, one time got  a good Q (49?!) score and another got a good V (38?!) score. He asked the INSEAD officer if they will consider the highest score from these two tests and the answer is yes. So if you are strong on one part at your first try, focus on the other part for 2nd try could also be a solution.

It seems the admission board consider several elements when make decision, academic performance (includes GMAT, GPA, etc) is only one of them.
Therefore, if you have strong background on other sides, you don't need to worry too much of your score. One 13J R1 applicant was asked to re-take GMAT because INSEAD liked his/her profile and admitted him/her in the end (R3).

And she mentioned that it is good for me to improve the G and Insead do not consider reapplicaiton if you failed last time.

Everyone says the whole package will be considered, and I need evaluate my whole package and take my own risk.

I may just take another g before the last round.

By the way, all other top b schools in Europe said my score is good enough to apply.

They seemed not too bothered about the score unless it is really really low.

Insead is the only one in Europe so fussy about g.

Gina,
The part of re-application is kinda yes and no. If they like you, they do accept re-application.
There are ppl from WLs got mails suggesting them to re-apply. Also lots of ppl get straight dings and ask not to try again.
Among the factors they consider, international experience, diversity, and leadership potential are definitely there.

And for the G score, try to improve the part you did not so well last time. The upside is they can check both scores and take the highest parts
