Product Development Electrical Engineer



Sample projects:  future platforms, customer designs, quality improvement



Duties:



Leadership role in design and development projects.

Translate user needs from request to proposal through design and final
delivered product.

Design electronic and mechanical systems to meet specific functions and
requirements.

Provide training and technical documentation in support of the customer
training activity.

– Mentor others “train the trainer”.



Requirements:



BSEE or equivalent and 10 years design experience

Experience in Digital, Analog, RF circuit design.

Total system architecture view of product engineering.

Knowledge of motion control using servos and steppers a plus

Strong mechanical aptitude including:  mechanisms, hydraulics, pneumatics,
and heat transfer.

Demonstrated ability to lead projects and complete them successfully.

Understanding of manufacturing methods and support functions.

Hands on.

Cross discipline team player.  Able to relate to customer, sales and
production individuals.
