这是平行中的特殊情况吧~其实也不是特殊，就是比较少见。
当平行的部分分别结构比较复杂或较长时，此时原先起分隔作用的，就显的效果不明显了，于是人们就会用；来替代原来的，，使得分隔更明显。
记住这种用法就行了。。。

我感觉这里可以看做是与之前不同的平行，即，第一个分号前后为两句话的平行，（说平行有些牵强。。。）但如果最后一个分号没出问题，整个句子还是对的。。。

新东方老师说：help在GMAT里只有两种用法：help sb to do sth; help do sth，没有help sth
前面是aiding....所以这里也应该是pollinating....

这部分解释确实有点奇怪，即使E选项纠正了help的错误，也谈不上'maintains parallelism throughout'。 D选项的解释也雷同，但在C选项它注意到了最后一个部分的they。
